Bright Idea for Funding Lighting Upgrade Projects
Constellation Energy has selected ESCO as a Channel Partner to offer and implement their new Efficiency Made Easy program (EME). EME bundles fixed price electricity (+3 yrs) with energy conservation measures, such as lighting retrofits. Customers pay for the cost of the energy conservation measures as part of their per kWh commodity charge over the length of the contract. There’s no upfront capital or financing required, and customers retain the benefit of the installed energy efficiency measures at the end of the commodity contract.

First Energy Utility Rebate Announcement for Ohio
ESCO Energy Services Company has been selected to become a Trade Ally of First Energy for its Energy Save Ohio program. This energy efficiency program is arguably the most attractive in the country, providing rebates ranging from 70% to 100% of the cost of lighting upgrade projects. The program encompasses First Energy's subsidiary utilities including The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (The Illuminating Company), Toledo Edison and Ohio Edison. The funding pool is finite and the program is scheduled to be scaled back in October 2011, so if you are considering a lighting efficiency project, now is the time.
